Should be working with head lights on, no need for engine running.
Have you checked for the "ECU" in the right hand side seat box? It's an electronic latch and I shouldn't give much trouble but maybe a loose connector? https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic63089.html |

Is it incandescent i.e. has a holder and a light bulb and filaments or LED? $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Have you got your Landie running with dipped beam headlights on when you test it?

Didn't come up while moving thé truck. I'm going to check the connectors in the right seat box. And mesure the ECU in the link. Now I'm in Africa - fog lights would be appreciated for mu return in January. Everything is orginal no mods but the truck tows. I've already separated the stuff to make sure that the fault ils not related to trailer ans its cables. I remember having had thèse probkrms before. I jusr changed the switch and everything worked fine. But the inside if the switch is i' perfect condition. |

Tried it with headlights switched on. Fog light has been working every 2 years for French MOT |
