2.2 Fog light not working
Hi, my fog light doesn't work

What I exclude :

- bulb is fine + contacts in good condition
- 10A fuse is fine
- I opened + cleaned the switch. It's as good as new
- I tried with head lights switched on

But the yellow lamp on the switch doesn't come up

Tomorrow I'm going to try once more while truck is moving
Perhaps the ECU wants this information, too. But I doubt it.

Any more ideas what to check ?

Should be working with head lights on, no need for engine running.

Have you checked for the "ECU" in the right hand side seat box? It's an electronic latch and I shouldn't give much trouble but maybe a loose connector?

Have you got your Landie running with dipped beam headlights on when you test it?

Was it working before?

Didn't come up while moving thé truck.

I'm going to check the connectors in the right seat box. And mesure the ECU in the link. Now I'm in Africa - fog lights would be appreciated for mu return in January.

Everything is orginal no mods but the truck tows. I've already separated the stuff to make sure that the fault ils not related to trailer ans its cables.

I remember having had thèse probkrms before. I jusr changed the switch and everything worked fine. But the inside if the switch is i' perfect condition.
