I've noticed a few times now that our D250 hesitates/stutters when driving under partial throttle, (example being cruising on an A road).

The symptom is a very brief flatspot/stutter/hesitation that probably lasts no more than a second.

Anyone else had similar?

I have noticed a similar stutter/hesitation under the following: cruise control set 60-72mph, then overriding with the accelerator brings on a stutter as if there is a brief electronic battle for who is in control is going on. Hesitation clears after a coupe of seconds. 2020 Defender 110 SE 240D: Fuji White.

Plug it in to a proper LR-compatible scanner

May be a wee bit offtopic but what are some good scanner options for Defenders?

Just had a run up to Scotland from Devon and getting this slight hesitation also on a D300 with 4500 miles on the clock and starting to notice it around town now, did anyone get an answer to what it could be from the dealers ?

Mine was at the dealers last week and absolutely no fault codes recorded or present - they drove it but could not replicate the problem so have recorded the issue against the car and said to just continue to drive it.

If and when it gets worse I have to take it back. Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

Mines probably done it once or twice more that I've noticed since I made the OP.

Nothing showing on the codes yet.

I've just had an update come through that claims to resolve hesitancy issues...

Will see what it's like once it's finished updating!
