I'm interested as well if anyone knows! I found within the IID GAP Announcement post configs that enable it in addition to multiple other items but not specifically what enables Auto by itself.

Auto Terrain Response did NOT work on mine after I activated it until about two days later. Then it was like it was never an issue. Pivi resets and letting the car sleep didn't help, but it started working after time.

Put a battery charger on you car and fully charge it up for at least 12+ hours, and with it fully charged leave it charging overnight. In the morning I switched my car on and left it for a while until it powered itself off. I switched it on again and started the engine this time and it was there!

Are you able to manually switch to AUTO mode? When I tried this AUTO appeared on the touchscreen but I was not able to switch to AUTO.

To activate Auto Terrain Response, you hold down the Terrain Response button on the center console until it tells you that Auto mode has been selected on the instrument cluster. Alternatively, you can press the same button once and activate it using the dial or the screen. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)
