New Defender en-route: Help with height for parking!
Hi, I've just ordered my first ever Defender and, fingers crossed, it's currently being built and I'm hoping to be picking it up from the dealer by the end of November (if you're interested, I've gone for the 90 X-Dynamic HSE D250 in Santorini Black with Black Pack and I can't wait for it to arrive).

I do have a question for you experienced owners about parking - can anyone clarify the actual height of the 90 on coil springs and whether that includes the fin or not? I regularly use multi-storey car parks for work so need to explore whether I need to source alternative parking locations!

You will find the size of the car in one of the Pivi-Pro menus. The height includes the fin as far as I know.

Yup, mines on coils and I took it into the pick up zone at Edinburgh Airport which is 2.2m. I just trusted that the Pivi height info was accurate 😬 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Be careful the tyres!
1.97 not accurate 100%. I went through 2mt barrier in France and I have scratched the fin despite entering the parking at the lower height setting. 18” with A/T tyres.
Same parking with 20” alloy and Pirelli Zero Tyres, no problem at all.

Thanks, I’m glad I asked now as it’s clear it’s something to be aware of!

Mine will be fitted with the standard 20” HSE alloys and all-season tyres. One of the car parks I use is 2.0metres so it’ll be a close one with both fingers crossed I think….! Confused

You won't have any problems, in 20" you wouldn't have it with pneumatics and the one with coil springs is a little lower!! Defender 110 SE I6 D 23MY
