Sadly my ineptness in the security stakes and my apparent rose tinted view of the world thought that landrovers own alarm, immobiliser and tracking device would suffice, how wrong I could be. To my dismay the vehicle was taken from my drive sometime on Friday 2nd december 2011 and the tracker sent a signal at 4.09 am that morning as it was being removed. It was in the village of Burton upon Stather in north Lincolnshire. Scunthorpe police attempted to thwart the crime but arrived on scene at the trackers last known coordinates a fraction too late.

Sounds like it was an LR tracker (I THINK that COBRA provide these at the moment). Also from what he's written, it sounds like the truck was taken/moved before tracker sent it's alert at 4.09am, so either the tracker wasn't functioning correctly or it was compromised in some way at the point of theft.  Jon - 110 td5 [sold].
