Remote height adjustment
I did the LR off road courtesy day at Peckforton Castle yesterday and was shown a great party trick if you have air suspension fitted, this incidently works on all LR models 2012+ with air suspension.

Open the car
Switch on the hazard lights
On the fob hold own the lights button whilst pressing the unlock or boot open buttons to go up or down.

If everyone already knows this one great but I didn't..

Interesting feature.

But why would you want to raise or lower the vehicle with the key fob? There must be a good reason, or it wouldn't be in the programming, but l can't see it.

l've got coil springs on my Defender so it's at the higher level all the time, and l've never had an issue attaching our caravan.

Just raise the 'van or trailer using the jockey wheel and then lower it down on to the tow ball. Once the jockey wheel is off the ground, pull the handle and "CLUNK" the receiver drops on to the tow ball and you know it's attached.

Perfect for fly-by facebook marketplace furniture collection:
Ditch the Def outside the seller's house - preferably ramped up the kerb on double yellows
Whack the Hazards on.
Complete the exchange.
Return to vehicle whilst lowering the backend
Pretend that extra 7mm helped..

I use it to drop it for elderly members of my family or loading when approaching the car.

Useful feature. Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Is there a way to get it even lower, when parked, without purchasing anything? Eg a secret menu or button press to get an extra low access height? I’ve read the boxes can get you an extra 40-50mm lower.

I'm pretty sure you have the basic lowered 'access height' when parked
and then the 'remote lowering' drops it a little further (same as the controls in the boot of the vehicle).

It works on models prior to the 2012MY. My old 2011 LR4 (D4) had the same feature. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)

Having to go into the car to switch on the hazard lights first, makes this feature just about useless. Might as well just open the rear door and use the buttons.

you wouldn't want to open the rear door if you were hitching up. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar
