Are the A-frame brackets bolted to the cross member (imperial) or welded (metric)?

My VIN is 429899 so no where near the range mentioned and I’m sure that greater than 300,000 more Defenders were built in the last 3 years
I check the mounting bracket |

2013 will be the metric type.
Your VIN will actually end DA429899, and for this purpose "DA" is after "9A". 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

I think mine was metric, as far as I remember. (Cannot be 100%).
