United Kingdom 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
Metric or Imperial
I want to order a rear suspension bolt kit for my 2013 110 and there are two options :-
One for vehicles up to 9A768936 (imperial A frame bolts) and one from 9A768936 (metric A frame bolts)
I don’t know what these serial numbers refer to as it is not the VIN. Can any one advise?
I assume that being a later vehicle it will be the latter be we now what assumptions do…….

I think those are the last digits of the VIN

Fairly confident they'll be metric.........

Are the A-frame brackets bolted to the cross member (imperial) or welded (metric)?

My VIN is 429899 so no where near the range mentioned and I’m sure that greater than 300,000 more Defenders were built in the last 3 years Smile
I check the mounting bracket

2013 will be the metric type.

Your VIN will actually end DA429899, and for this purpose "DA" is after "9A".  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
2015 D90 XS SW

I think mine was metric, as far as I remember. (Cannot be 100%).

I think Gwyn Lewis does bolt kits as well for that. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️
