Were you watching the programme tonight?
They managed a total of the whole situation. Brilliant. |

I see from the BBC website that Unison have invited JC to spend a day with a healthcare worker - I'm not sure which is the christian and which is the lion Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I enjoy Clarkson's humour. Problem is some people take him seriously. He is probably the only reason I begrudgingly pay my TV tax.
Regarding the industrial action I feel the same way as him. If the country can all pull in one direction we may get out of this mess faster. The unions are flexing their muscles while there are still so many public sector workers on the payroll. Quite frankly I think they are and they won't get any sympathy from me. |

Hasn't he got a new book out or something?
He's a bit of a cock, although he doesn't offend me as such. I just find him a little pathetic really in that he thinks by being a bit of a cock he's really popular. I like Top Gear, and for that he's perfect, but when it comes to politics Jezzer needs to butt out, same as politicians don't tell him how to review a car. Yeah he's entitled to an opinion like everyone else, but his populatiry seems to give it more weight in the eyes of the average Sun reader. Probably the same dullards who want him for PM. |

I think the fact that Top Gear has huge ratings and he's sold gaziilions of books means he is really popular Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

Top Gear has high ratings because it's entertaining, his books sell well because he's not actually that bad a writer. But I said he thinks he's popular by being a cock and the truth is he really doesn't need to be. The bloke has talent alright, but now seems to suppress that in favour of being arrogant and deliberately provocative. |

I'd love to see a lot more Clarksons and a lot less PC pillocks.

I disagree, and think you should be taken outside and executed in front of your family. That do? |

Jeremy is Jeremy. If you like it or not. He will always be Jeremy.
I like his honnest attitude. At least one public guy who gives his true opinion. Should he talk like all the rest to keep his status? So appreciate his view. Everybody has one. So what's the point? Take it with a piece of salt. Today's news is tommorow's fish and chips anyway. |

That "honest attitude" is just an excuse to be controversial. Using execution as the tagline for a joke during what is a prime time family-orientated TV show is neither big nor clever as there will have been an element of the audience (kids) who simply don't understand what it really means, and don't understand Clarkson. His humour is more the post-9pm style and needs to stay there. If he doesn't like The One Show's middle of the road mediocrity and safe approach to broadcast content perhaps he should've sacrificied a few books sales and simply not gone on the show. |
