You can disable the fake engine noises played through the stereo or even choose different versions with these two settings:

Next Generation Power Train Sound Quality (NGPTSQ)

MultiCAN-584 NextGenPwrTrnSQ
PTSQ NLI
MultiCAN-585 ActSndDesignPwrlvl
NGPTSQ

I have upgraded the factory amp and speakers and wanted to turn all off the artificial sounds that affect the sound quality.

Good man, I'll try these today. I have 580 & 809 selected already so I'll add the 712/753 thanks.
I have the diesel so no fake engine noises.

Have you managed to turn off the adblue?

**edit*** still no cruise control, TR still not configuring Sad

For my ACC I have enabled trhe following and without success:
EOCD023 cruise control fitted -Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop & Go & then Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop & Go, Brake Limit 2, With ACC To CC Toggling
MC503 intel cruise control
MC580 PT Cruise fitment
MC670 fwd traffic detection
MC683 intel emergency braking (to CAEB fitted)
MC694 cam forward alert
MC719 intelligent emergency braking
MC794 front radars fitted
MC809 ACC stop gap setting

None of this has made any difference at all to gaining ACC or CC of any kind. The speed limiter works and that is all.
I'm reverting back to the factory selection so I at least have basic cruise control back in the car. I've spent an entire morning faffing and driving back/forth testing the ACC.

I've also changed:
MC580 generic power output to: standard engine high
MC599 engine power from 249/365 to 300/700 but this appears to have done zero. I have a GPS logger so can measure acceleration etc. but it feels like it is the same factory D250 power.

I've spent a full day on this now, uploading changes at least eight times and trying them.

This ACC is driving me nuts Big Cry
If I emailed GAP would they have insight on what combination I should try for ACC or is it still at the 'try and see' stage of development?

Can you confirm the settings you used ? , or just disabled ?
Mine are now:

I think it is standard on all Defenders to have the sensor behind the front Land Rover badge on the grille - I think that is used for the adaptive cruise control. Worth checking you have that fitted.

Do you have the latest firmware version on the gap tool? Might be worth plugging into a computer and checking MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar

"Disabled" or "Not Fitted" or "Not Supported"?
Disabled doesn't seem to be a choice on my Defender:
MultiCAN-584 NextGenPwrTrnSQ
Not Supported
Not Fitted
PTSQ NLI
PTSQ MID
PTSQ HIGH
PTSQ PREM
PTSQ Hybrid
Error

MultiCAN-585 ActSndDesignPwrlvl
Not Supported
Not Fitted
NGPTSQ
PTSQ NLI
PTSQ Lo
PTSQ Hi
PTSQ Hybrid
PTSQ V8 Cylinder Deactivation
Error

I removed the front upper grill and the sensor is there yeah, as far as I'm aware they all have this fitted for auto.emergency braking.

The G4 I bought last week came with the most recent firmware as I registered it with GAP and checked for updates, and see I have the latest build.

I'm either missing a simple setting, or my sensor is a duffer that doesn't want to play.

I can get the gap/distance function illuminated on my steering wheel, but even after leaving the car stood overnight the settings still wouldn't take. I've also reset the pivi screen many times. I have the option in the pivi to set my preferred ACC gap, but the actual ACC or normal CC for that matter won't work. I have to return to factory settings to enable my normal CC.

I expect it's something simple, but I've sat and read through the 1000 ccf options more than once, and have tried eight various configurations to no avail so I've almost 'wasted' a full day of tinkering for no reward other than a learning experience.

I would suggest changing the values that others have proven work, then just forget about it. Often it can take days before the settings actually work. MY23.5 SE Defender

I have done it you look at what parameters I’ve set/activated.
It seems strange that everything else I’ve programmed has worked instantly after locking/unlocking the car, same as when I’ve had any other vehicle coded by a tuner so I’m not sure how leaving the car for days would all of a sudden activate something?? Surely that can’t be right?
Or is the LR unique to this concept?

HI,
I advise you not to superficially modify all these CCF parameters, they interact with many systems of the car, not only acc,
to enable ACC, as written in the guide in this place, you ONLY have to change:
MultiCAN-580 PTCruiseFitment: ACC with Queue Assist fitted
MultiCAN-712 ACC Lead Car Distance Display: Fitted
MultiCAN-809 ACC Stop Gap Setting: Fitted.
only these parameters, the others are not necessary in most defenders.
the problem with the configurable TR can arise from these too many modifications.
As for the procedures, you need a power supply of at least 40 amps, (when writing consumes around 35 amps), a diagnostic stabilized power supply that sets the voltage between 13.8 and 14.0 volts, other techniques are risky on the voltage stability.
