More pics of progress
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge As you can see with the help of a local firm we were able to save the VGS side window to get all the old window sealer off, the part was baked at 200 degrees, acid dipped and sand blasted and then re powder coated, it now looks like new again and I can keep the same tinted look across the van. I'm not sure if I have mentioned it but I have a very high pitch squeal from the aux belt due to bad alignment so at some stage I'll have to strip the front down again, not looking forward to that, any suggestions welcome. Going to get all the outstanding electrical works completed over the next week, then put the floors and seat belts in, then MOT time. I'm not going to do the final fitout inside until I've driven it for a while so any gremlins can be ironed out. I've also found out I'd forgotten about the rear central locking when I converted everything else, anyone got a rear door loom including the CL actuator and bracket please.. |

catching the orange paint thru the bonnet intakes is very nice
just watch out for the lightbar and wind noise, I tried the same setup and the whistle was crazy, my plan was to fit some rubber edge trim over the top fin on the back of the lightbar to disrupt the airflow. My goodness, your paintshop knows what they are doing, I’ve never had any luck in that department. Around here all the good ones have disappeared leaving only the accident repair types making their money from shoddy insurance jobs.
Love the bonnet vents too. WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |

Thanks for everyone's kind comments.
Been lots of activity the last week so another update will follow, however I've bought part number ADU710110, which is the front seat belt bracket. This is an ebay item but they have sold over 100 units. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?? Click image to enlarge |

Thanks for all the comments, as for the seat belt bracket bought JLR ones and they fitted perfect, don't know how the supplier told me he had sold over 100 of these without an issue.....
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Also got to the end of the road with Tractive, just have to put up with the awful high pitched whine, which to be fair will be drowned out by the sound of the V8, so perhaps I'm being over sensitive... Feels like I'm fast approaching the end of this journey, as I've started the interior fitout and fitting things for the last time. And the panoramic roof is finally in. Click image to enlarge Interior starting to come together, If only I could stop breaking things.... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Getting the wiring for the puddle lights and heated mirrors was a mission but I'm happy with the result Click image to enlarge Made a trim panel and Got Dan Padmore to make me a bespoke wiring loom for the door which incorporates Heated mirrors and puddle light wiring really pleased with the OE look. (thanks Dan ) Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Rear work lights look great Click image to enlarge And ORE wheel carrier Click image to enlarge I'm starting to look for someone to do a full PPF job if anyone has any contacts with experience, my usual guy doesn't want to do it |

This could be a conspiracy theory, but.... I'm pretty sure they sent all the waterproof versions to Australia and South Africa. Mine has never leaked in the heavy rain we have once in a while. They have a twisted sense of humor in Birmingham |
