My mate has one and swears by it but he is “sold” on the Grenadier and won’t have a bad word said about them Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

Quartermaster is a bit disappointing again
Longer than a 130 but less payload. Similar to a Ranger Raptor. I suppose if you put a demountable camper on it it would make an interesting overlander. Lots of videos on You Tube showing American overland shows, loads of Grenidiers in use. One with a smart pop top conversion. |

lt may not be as good as the Defender 130, but just look at it. lt's freaking awesome.
l would have that on my drive over a Defender without question. The neighbours would literally be green with envy, in their generic chunky SUV's. The Grenadier Quartermaster is not a fashion wagon, it's the real deal. |

I hope you have a long driveway, lightning
There’s a few new build properties round these parts that wouldn’t fit one of those beauties on their driveways. |

Did they make any other pickup than the quartermaster? There is a pickup at my local dealer, can't say I've had a good look at it. The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html

The price and limited load capacity suggests otherwise sadly. Also, you have just compared it to generic SUVs…..which reinforces the statement. Difficult to justify the additional cost over any other pickup I would say. Chris |

I got an email headed "Unique, hand-finished Grenadiers are in the Works".
Remember every older type Defender was hand built and finished. Anyway here is what it says "Since launch, Grenadiers have been thoughtfully engineered to offer peerless off-road capability, and on-road performance. Now, we’re taking Grenadier to the next level. We’re crafting a new breed of carefully curated Grenadiers, offering a whole new level of design, customisation, and, in some cases, performance. Introducing new features. New materials. New finishes. And new exterior colours and interiors, with the option to go further still, and challenge us to match a colour of your choice. This new breed of Grenadier will be built by a new division within INEOS Automotive. We’re calling it ‘Arcane Works’, from the word ‘arcane’, meaning ‘known or understood by very few; mysterious, secret.’ We’ll unveil the first limited edition from Arcane Works on July 11th at Goodwood Festival of Speed, in July 2024, so book a ticket, to be the first to see it in person. Follow the link below to register your interest in Arcane Works Grenadiers, and to find out more." 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

Why do I get the feeling I won’t be able to afford one?

I do not think you are alone with that feeling!
I admire the concept. I admire the quality components but as an everyday work horse in the old Defender mould, it is too expensive as an everyday farm hack. I suppose if you bought one and kept it until the next millennium you would justify it in your mind (and to the wife!). 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |
