With that mileage I'd be getting a bike. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Had a few cars with dpf and never had a problem. Current car is D300 and have never really noticed regen taking place. (had a Volvo XC60 and knew when that was doing regen). I am quite a low mileage user and have done quite a few 5 mile trips to the tip with trailer attached and no issues. Most of other trips are longer mind you and tend to use our EV for local runs so the phev might be a good option for you.
One thing to remember is that all petrol cars have a Petrol Particular Filter fitted now which also does regen cycles the same as diesels. Doesn’t seem to be a great deal of issues reported about petrol particulate filters, partly due to the fact the temperate to burn off the gathered material is lower than that of diesel particulate filters plus I believe it’s only been a requirement for PPF’s to be fitted for the last couple of years. 110 D300 XD HSE, Carpathian, Tow pack.
