I think most can get away with 1ltr for the brakes, but if going for a good flush of brakes and clutch then 1.5l would be about perfect.
However given the price of DOT 4 it will only be a couple of pounds more to get 2Lโs and that way you know you will not come up short on the day. |

Yep, what Ian said. Last time I bought 2 litres to do the job and had a bit left which I keep to top up my very slightly leaky clutch. WARNING.

Good to know, thank you. I did think 1L would be pushing it too far to do both brakes and clutch fluid.
So thank you for clarification so 2L will be perfect. I think a flush is a good thing for longevity anyway, I have a little LED tester for it (the fluid) for moisture content and is current about 1 or 2% so imminently due for doing for the bi-annual fluid change.

Yeah, probably 400ml to 100ml left.
What do you think is leaking on yours ? Hopefully not the Slave. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Unfortunately I think it is the slave. Itโs a very slow leak but will need doing at some point. WARNING.

Ah thatโs a pain, I had one that had a pin hole of a leak in the diaphragm.
Be sure the bleed valve is shut though and not weeping, they arenโt very strong, but all the same any tiny bit of pressure loss or leaks could do it so any moist areas you never know.
