What material are they machined from? Would be interesting to compare the specific heat capacities. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread

The previous batch was machined from Acetal Resin, Dupont call it Delrin I believe.
From a quick google; Acetal has a thermal conductivity of around 0.31 W/m°K Aluminium is in the region of 240 W/m°K A fairly substantial difference. Definitely the difference between being too hot to touch and bearable I'd say? Having said that I'm certainly not a thermodynamics expert so I'm certainly happy to be corrected  2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I think Grafty moved production on to someone else, they are on defender upgrades website now.
Great upgrade to have mind, for the bottom vents, as you can move the air to where you want it. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
