If you apply the speedo healer to the signal from the sensor, your speedo will be wrong.

You need to install the speedo healer on the signal from the speedo down to the ECU!  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Interestingly (although only tried briefly so far) my cruise control seems to still work in 5th gear now the V8 ratio gear has been fitted. 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread

Higher transfer gears are a much larger change in gear ratios though whereas 5th gear change is only going from 0.77:1 to 0.732:1 (5%). 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread

So the plugs supplied need to be snipped off and the Speedo wire on the ecu loom needs to be cut and the Speedo healer bridges the snipped wire. Sorry may be using the wrong terminology

Would like CC, but I too have a 10p TD5. Any quick way of knowing if the ECU is MSB or NNN ? 2001 90 TD5 SW - Juice Motors Resto Mod - Epsom Green
