In Control Secure Tracker - Renewal
Hi

I have just received an email from LR InControl to inform me that my Secure Tracker service is about to expire ( Mid April) and they want £245 or something close to renew it.

I must admit, I didnt think I had bought this when I got the vehicle but must have ticked the button without realizing it

they now say if I dont renew I loose this Tracker/Stolen Vehicle feature , fair enough but do still have Remote climate control and SOS button ?

However, I thought there was an option previously to take out a reduced option for about £50 pa for the Remote App but this doesnt seem to be an option now.

I always thought the tracker element was not needed as with the Remote App I know where my car is anyway

have things changed and I now need the secure tracker in order to control the climate and track my journeys?

You get 1 year included, secure tracker pro is the optional one, the rest will still work until the end of the warranty. Log on to your account online and it will give the expiry dates for each Thumbs Up

This is mine

It might be worth checking against your insurance policy mind….. you might need it active for your insurance to be valid. Mind I was advised by a LR salesman that you could tell your insurance it was fitted, and then not activate it Rolling Eyes idiot!
