It comes with the P0234 with no engine light. Yeah definitly need to drop to 5 and sometimes 4. MAP and MAF are new. I saw that the VCV usually also influences the idling.. Mine Idles and starts perfectly. Making my Defender great again. (Or trying to at least xD)

Could the rattle be somehow related to the turbo?

What is the link between turbo and injection? (I mean is there a direct link with more boost = more diesel injected?)

I am asking because today for the first time I drove with the torque App on, and the rattle kind of follows the boost level, as soon as I let go from the accelerator, it's gone..

My turbo heatshield is removed. P0234 (and limp mode, not engine light on the dash) still coming as soon as I hit the motorway (I don't get high level of boost in the city).

If the new injectors don't fix anything, I'll have to find a good land rover mechanic, I'll have to give up Laughing Making my Defender great again. (Or trying to at least xD)

Hey Waka, did not yet replace the egr yet did you? Especially the last symptoms you described sound a lot like mine when the egr failed last year. Fingers crossed that it fixes itself once the new one goes in...

Because good land rover mechanics are hard to find in our region Rolling Eyes

Hi,
I have the EGR but did not fit it yet, still looking for a place to do it, hamburg streets are not that great for it haha. The rattle comes from the injectors, did a relearn today and the rattle is gone.. Already feels much better, pulls like a beast. I will still change the injectors because I don't like the reading I get on forscan so much.. If anyone wants to have a look
