TD5 electric window kit, switch change to carling contura II

I recently bought and fitted one of the readily available kits for electric windows. The kits are essentially all the same . Fitted and all worked ok bar one of the switches which was defective. Being a cheap 5 pin switch, Chinesium, thought i would splash out on a carling 8 pin rocker from mobilecentre ltd.

Problem I have is how to wire the Carling.

The old switch had 5 pins, live in at the centre then an earth either side (earthed to chassis) then an output to each motor.

I did find this diagram for the 8 pin switch. Dont know if I use 8, 7,3, 2, 1 or if I have to conect 1and 4, 2 and 5, 3 and 6.

The diagram popped up by Geobloke is the right one. I've taken some pics of my instal and will upload later.

Ok, now the carling contura Ii rocker doesn't want to fit the existing blank hole. Guess I need to modify it, any suggestions?

Just have the positive from the dash light to connect to illuminate the switch with sidelights.

Needed to file the existing electric window td5 dash slots a smidge and these fitted. Will try and fit a purpose made housing to tidy it up a bit.
