Had to deal with seized trailing link to rear axle bolt. Very difficult to get a cutting disc in without cutting something else. So welded another bolt, head to head on the bolt I was trying to remove, slid a tube over, and used the welded bolt as a puller. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Nice.
I think one detail that does suggest this has always been NAS spec is the standard indicator holes on the front don’t look like they’ve ever been used, implying it’s had NAS front lights from the factory. ‘68 V8 hybrid ‘83 88” station wagon ‘11110 USW |

Yea. I was trying to get 2 new headlamp surrounds but they are impossible to get.
Old ones will clean up and spray ok but one has a crack in it. Steve. |

Have you tried an actual Land Rover dealer. Occasionally they can surprise you with parts that somehow haven’t been sold off by the crate at some point. ‘68 V8 hybrid

Making good progress. Is the black just a primer? James

I'm hoping it's primer . This is going to be one of a kind when finished and full credit for taking on this project. Body coloured or white roof would be my personal choice just to keep it period. Great work though and keep progress pics coming.
