do you know the pn for the spacer you used? also, did you install the spacers at the same time as the 275's? curious if without spacers or smaller spacers would it rub on stock suspension.

Someone tried this measure 305 / 50 / 20?

The sidewall is the same of 275/55/20 but is more width.

on the standard tyre there is around 20mm gap between tyre ans suspension on the front.

So would be close or touching.. (305 - 255 = 50 / 2 = 25mm extra width behind rim)

Yes they will fit. I had 275 60 20's on mine and they fit.

265' will be .5 inches wider and .5 inches taller, so not a big deal.


Did 275 60 20 fit on a standard car no lift etc

I fitted these to my 18” compomotives,
265/70/18 radar renegade rt+.
Used them for a couple of days laning in the Lake District, all good, little bit taller than standard but no rubbing. Slightly louder. D300

Swapped caliper carrier for the early D5 version. Uses same discs and pads but has a smaller carrier. Same as lucky 8 but without the £1000 premium

Similar to what we had done to our P400 in Oz, Tuff Ant do a full ADR (govt regulator) approved LR OEM D5 rear caliper swap for D300/P400’s so you can switch to Tuff Ant 18” alloys. Not cheap but allowed me to swap to 275/65 R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W which are LT construction

That’s what gave me the idea, after much reading up and checking of disc sizes, I took the gamble of purchasing a pair of carriers from the D5 which had the same discs and pad part numbers as my Defender, relatively cheap at £140 a side, already had the wheels
