It seems that the Wrangler Adventure AT is the ‘off road tyres’ factory option.
Those are the Wrangler Duratrac which is a more aggressive tyre. |

My car came on Pirelli All Seasons which are a purely onroad tyre so after asking here and at my dealership the general opinion was that Duratracs were the recommended off-road tyre. At the time my dealers had not sold any Defenders than mine and didn’t have any with the off-road pack in their compound. Mine doesn’t have the off-road pack. They do make more road noise than the Pirelli’s but as I’ve only added one refuelling since changing tyres and done one day off-road I cannot really say if the consumption is higher. With their more aggressive tread it wouldn’t surprise me if it were a bit more but I’m happy to live with that as I do less than 8000 miles a year and no long motorway hauls yet ( I think if my first flight to London coming up in October is crowded then I might resume the motorway pounding and will put the Pirelli’s back on) Here is a screen shot of my online fuel record at Fuelly.com - tyres were changed prior to the 7th August refuelling so basis 1 refill my consumption is improved slightly on the Duratracs. I’ll probably be refuelling during the week as I have a laning day coming up on 6th Sept which is very local but around 10 miles of it will be low ratio Unless the weather is wet when more low box will be needed. Interestingly now we are getting cooler mornings here of late my dash computer is regularly showing my regular trip to town is consuming even less fuel as I’m getting 35-37mpg behind all the tractors and caravans all sticking to 50-55 mph on the main road I use. I did. I took the Pirellis off and sold them and replaced them with Duratrac. ---- 2020 Land Rover Defender 110 P300 SE 7 seat (current) 1984 Land Rover Series III 88” Hard Top (current) Previously: 2001 Land Rover Defender 110 TD5 Station Wagon (gone) 2001 Range Rover HSE 4.0 V8 P38 (gone) 2014 Land Rover Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 (gone) 2009 Land Rover Discovery 3 2.7 TDV6 (gone) 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport SD4 240 HSE (gone) |

Does anyone know if 265/60/20 tyres will fit without a lift kit? They are 0.5 inches bigger than the standard diameter.

[quote="familymad"Are these OEM when you tick the off-road tire option?[/quote]
No if you tick off-road tyres you get the GY Adventurer. If you look on the configurator where you would check the off road tyres option and click the + for more info it says that a (I think that LR calls it) Professional off-road tyre can be purchased through your dealer - that is the Duratrac but the price from your local dealer is horrendous for those Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. some feedback from an Australian tourer that has done some about 65K KM's around Australia on Duratracs.
Likely to fit prior to our lap of Oz early next year, i am not totally confident that the AT's will be tough enough. &feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR3DImlDVpLcBp3DQ-MS5ShOVcrI34LpoM8x3KZLSe3g5pv8Mad49Vy5c5g yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

I went with 275/55/20 BFG K02 Tires and 30mm H&R Wheel Spacers. Zero rubbing on factory suspension.

KO2's are not available in 19" otherwise i would have had a serious look, so i am limited to Duratracs
and a few other options. yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

My P400 has those strange hockey puck parts on the front knuckles that won't allow anything smaller than a 20" wheel or larger. 20's thankfully have many more tire options.

Yes they will fit. I had 275 60 20's on mine and they fit. 265' will be .5 inches wider and .5 inches taller, so not a big deal. |
