Really. I'd be surprised that after the defenders demise there wasn't someone who bought the patterns and continued to make the panels etc and even the full vehicle. |

I tried both Hunters and Hammonds, and eventually went all the way to Lookers in Colchester to get my XS90.
As you have said, Hunters are pretty unhelpful, and Hammonds were completely uninterested in having a deal, whereas Lookers were cheaper than both, helpful and actually quite enthusiastic about Defenders, which was a refreshing change. Pete |

Just collected my new toy. Orkney Grey XS 110 DC 2.2, fantastic, I don't know if I can tell if its any quieter than the 2.4, maybe slightly.
I shall endeavour to put some photos up as soon as I can. Big grin on my face at the moment. |

Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |
