I haven't got any of the install but do have some before pics where you can see empty sockets and the window motor pins and I do have the old loom so will take a pic when I can. No there were no wires at all to the window motor and there was a topix bulletin that shows how to manually lower window for glass replacement by connecting 2 live wires + and - to the 2 pins on motor to enable it to be lowered.

Fair enough. Door Panel / Card easy enough to remove?

Ah that could be an option if you can make the motor live with a battery to test etc.

Yes once i got my head around the silver Allen keys were a bit of a red herring! IIRC its 1 screw in handle recess and then the rest is just clipped on. then to remove old harness there is about 12 black screws holding frame work in place. Again I will try and photo them when I get back to storage, the clips hold int harness in place were a bit of a s*d!!

Thanks! Is this for my23? The connector that goes to the locking mechanism has changed from my22 to my23

72 should be my23. Thanks! Do you maybe have a photo of the connector so we can check?

Yes, it's the locking mechanism connector that has changed. For the left side I had to disassemble the used wiring loom with old the connector, and the original one that I had on the car. I would like to avoid that job on the other side Very Happy

The original wiring loom had two connectors, one to the door module and one to the locking mechanism. And they managed to make it different it in less than 3 years of production.

Thanks. There are definitely two different connectors depending on the year. The photos that you attaches work for the my23.

It looks like that the previous years have a different connector:

I have finished one side and edited the ccf files. The the wiring for the other side will arrive in a week.

Did anyone manage to activate the rear door lights and ambient lights? I didn't see anything in the ccf-s...

Yes, the seats are from a first gen L405, cooled and heated, I did the conversion myself. Please send me a DM if you need more info or pics.

For the rear door puddle lights and ambient lights - unfortunately they are powered and controled by the bcm/gwm and not from the door module, so new wires will need to be installed for them to work.

I will try and find the pins for the connector on the door (the retrofited door installation already has all the wires)
