hi Rich,
I've not heard of this before. Try a search on the forum Then, do you know where the flasher unit is ? Probably behind flap under steering wheel, pop the cover off and check to see if it gets warm - a good place to start. |

Thanks for the replies. I did search the forum but couldn't find any similar threads. I tried it again tonight and it stopped within 4 minutes. But stops in the on position not off as previously stated. The on period just gets longer until it stays on. The off period is as it should be. After it stopped I switched it off for 30 secs and then on and they were still stuck on. Then I left it for a couple of minutes and tried again when it flashed slowly before stopping again, which leads me to believe it is something to do with the flasher unit overheating, and then working again as it cools down. I will find the flasher unit and see if that is a correct assumption. Rich

Other than adding an unintelligent answer based on a total lack of electrics knowledge - might this be an earth problem?

Four things to consider:
Do you have LED indicators as a conventional flasher struggles to cope with LEDs? What happens when you leave the indicators flashing for extended period? Is the alarm working ok, as the alarm unit flashes the indicators? Do you have trailer attached? But my assumption is that the flasher unit is flucked.
