Excellent. If you were closer, I'd probably ask to borrow it Darren

Getting ready for another summer of trips and camping so it's time to give the whole thing a wash and restock the kitchen boxes.
After a lot of procrastination I settled on the Ratel X drop down table and mounts for the Maxtraxx. Click image to enlarge Went with the ratchets as well, having seen the hinges and mounts I don't think they are going to be needed but give a it more piece of mind with the weight of the traxx. Click image to enlarge Ordered and delivered within a few days from within the UK. I think I might have to spray the cargo track a matt black having seen it fitted in these photos. Keith |

Amazing build, and an influential thread.
Last week this thread led me to eBay which rapidly (within an hour) escalated into a purchase of a Penman. After speaking with the seller and transferring a deposit the wife then asked me where it was located, which in the excitement, was a minor detail I had forgotten to get. Transpired it was Newbury. 670 miles away. No problem, the excitement and adrenaline will fuel me on the 'there-and-back-dash' to collect. Apart from a small electrical problem caused by inability to be anything but an idiot, I made it home some 29 hours and 1350 miles after I left... Spent Saturday sleeping and Sunday sorting my little electrical gremlin and cleaning the trailer. Super excited to get planning! Just wanted to say thank you for this thread, and documenting your build! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Thats an even more impressive collection run than my Fife - Hereford run which I thought was borderline.
Enjoy the experience and good luck Keith |
