I have seen this before, but not exactly sure what they are / were used for. I take it they are heavy duty trailer that armed forces used to use? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Procta - it started life as a Penman GS cargo trailer from the ground up its designed to be used behind an MOD wolf or similar.
Really solid base trailer running on Wold wheels with leaf springs, anti roll bar and hydraulic disc brakes. An absolute bargain when bought from Auction and it's clearly had next to no use. https://www.brightwellslive.com/lot/details/515917 Fast forward 9 months and 2 lockdowns and I'm hoping to have it as a base for future camping trips and expeditions fitted out with fridge, kitchen, water tank and roof tent. In terms of paint and graphics, thanks for the comments.
I agree about getting the red line to carry through at the same level. I may also try it mocked up as a dotted line in the style OS use. I'm also thinking it would benefit from bringing the wrap onto the back doors to let it fade out as the co tour line reach the edge of the vehicle rather then being cut off at the edge of the panel on the rear tub. That's a good idea with the dotted line and the lines fading out on the door 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Is there a reason you have no mudguards or simply not fitted yet?? |

They're on the to do list, the urgent to do list before I start doing any significant miles.
Custom fabrication has been a real pain. Not sure if it's covid related or the pieces are just too small but I've been let down by a couple of small fabricators and turned down by a couple of larger ones. I've got a drawing for 1" Box section frames to form running boards down each side integrating wheel arches which I'll top with some 2mm tread plate. Keith |

I am very impressed with that, not only following the actual build of the trailer but the colour and
graphics on both the vehicle and trailer. I always like to see colour matching but that’s just my OCD. |

Penmans definatley need a suspension lowering or hitch mod to get them to sit level behind a standard 110. They just dont look right with the steep rake

The Penman was designed specifically for Military use to be slightly nose down.
if used with the correct height hitch etc, they are fine. (My setup below) Noted that they can rake lower in some applications and does look a little odd. Click image to enlarge 2015 90 XS Santorini Black |
