Shocks
I put bilsteins on my truck yesterday. After 4000 miles I had enough of the bouncing with the stock set up. I was just wondering who makes the genuine shocks. Each one is stamped Land Rover and made in Spain. Werent they woodhead in the past?

Over rough stuff they are much better than stock but on flat smooth roads the truck is still a bit bouncy. Did you change your springs?

My truck is lhd and the front drivers side shock has a white stripe. Passenger side has a yellow.

Rear I don't see a stripe. Anyone have a clue what my 09 truck has. I just want a nice ride on the road. Truck is stock with a g4 rack and used on road 99.999999 percent of the time.

You've got the standard LR front springs for the 110 LHD on the front - NRC8044 (Driver, White, Front) and the NRC8045 (Passenger, Yellow, Front).

Rear you could have the helper coil spring inserted inside the main road spring? White/Green, Brown/Purple???

Make sure your tyre pressures are OK before throwing money at a possible solution. 30/38psi works well usually.

I don't see any helper springs inside. Running 30 in the front and 35 in the back.

I too am looking to change my springs for more compliant ones to give a better ride on the road. I swear badly maintained tarmac is worse than a good gravel dirt road. The roads are so bumpy compared with 5 years ago.

Tried looking into it but the only things that come up are performance springs for turning the Landy into a performance racer or HD springs for over landing under a full load.

Would be great to hear about ones that are rated for carrying passengers only. Mines a stock 110 SW 2010 110 HT TD5 - 110 XS SW Puma

my came with HD springs on the rear and had a very hard bouncy ride, don't often carry any real weight or tow so i changed them for standard LR road springs and put on qood quality shocks all round. made a huge difference. BM52

I'm surprised the 90 comes with HD springs . Is that anything to do with it being XS spec ?

Mines 110 XS SW haven't checked but assumed it was on standard springs 110 HT TD5 - 110 XS SW Puma

If you are considering the change, you could do a lot worse than a Terrafirma kit.

You have to option of light/medium/heavy springs and can either use the gas dampers, or the big bore oil filled units. They are good value and high quality, and you can mix them, so light front and medium rear.

Terrafirma kit is poor quality (in my opinion). I sent shocks back to them after bushes went in less than 2000 miles. shocks were so hard there is no way the bushes could have survived.

The very best set up I've ever had was OME shocks and Iron Man "B" springs. magic on the road, fabulous offroad. If I was having another 90 I'd go all Iron Man.
