Well I jsut went bilstein for the shocks so really my only change would be springs. I assume since the fronts are HD the rears are too? Truck is SE spec

I've installed OME shocks front and back but am running on the origional springs. Mine has seven seats. The most comfortable it's been is when I've been fully loaded . I've lowered the tyre pressure's and added some weight in the back over the axels which makes a huge difference when driving unladen.

What rating would the standard springs be in terms of A B C . A being light B being medium and C heavy duty springs.
I've looked at the iron man springs and considering them.

I don't need the landy to tow 3 tones or carry heavy equipment in so thinking of going to the lightest but obviously don't want to throw money away.

Ps I'm quite happy as it is . Just tyres of everyone complaining about the bouncy ride . 110 HT TD5 - 110 XS SW Puma

I've not heard of SE spec . Here it's County and XS which run on the standard spring.
Heavy duty springs are an extra option you have to specify. 110 HT TD5 - 110 XS SW Puma

The very best set up I've ever had was OME shocks and Iron Man "B" springs. magic on the road, fabulous offroad. If I was having another 90 I'd go all Iron Man.

Yup - complete rubbish. I had Terrafirma on the 90 and binned them after they started leaking after a short while. Ride was rubbish too.

Changed back to standard HD springs and gas shocks. John

To be honest, I don't know. When I bought it it had just had the Terrafirma kit fitted. As it was a Tombraider with extra weight as standard I went for HD to give a slightly firmer ride. John

Ah, no worries . I want to set mine up as a family wagon for the bumpy Cornish lanes here. I'd swap over to tougher springs again when going on trips. There's not a lot of info out there. I may just blow some wedge on some super light weight springs and report back here 110 HT TD5 - 110 XS SW Puma

SE is basically the same as XS.

According to what I posted on color codes it came standard with HD at least in the front

big bore expedition. not fit for purpose.

I sent them back after photographing the problem, they gave me a refund on the rears, not the fronts, then did not communicate with me at all. I couldnt be bothered to chase them so resolved never to deal with them again. Plus it took 3 weeks from their arrival for them to even contact me.

when i researched my solution i was informed by LR that the 90 XS came with rear HD springs when ordered with a tow bar, which mine has. BM52

Interesting..I too ordered mine with a tow bar. Would be surprised if they put HD springs on it . The tow bar was fitted at the dealership when they recieved the car.
Without looking up colour codes anyone know what they are for HD spings on a 2011 build ? 110 HT TD5 - 110 XS SW Puma
