Help Identifying a noise please?

So,

I think its gearbox but can't be sure.

Engine when stationary and ticking over is silent, as it is when revved as well, no noises etc.

1st gear doest seem to do it, but when under heavy acceleration and on load I get this clicking crackling sound.

Any ideas.

Will load the sound clip below when I can work out how to change a memo into video format.

You can hear it from 2nd gear onwards, this leads me to think gearbox?

Thoughts? Really don't need this after all the work ive put in!!!

So, after a bit of research it sounds like its actually the engine pinking.

This issue I have is setting the timing perfectly I think, the engine has to mark for tdc.

I will remove spark plug 1 and get as best I can using this method.
