Auto TR

I am woundering what sensors Auto TR uses. It appears it detects wheel spin, so probably ABS sensors. Does it use the cameras to detect terain?
I notice some are using Auto Terrain Response, some are using Auto Terrain Response/JDO, Dynamic.
Is the error different depending on which attribute is used?

speaking of enabling the auto TR function, for those who want to play, the same error I have when I enable this function: only 2wd traction, I encounter it when I change the size of the wheels: multican-597, on my defender I had 18" wheels inches, (255/70 r18 at) I replaced them with the original 22 inches, (274/45 r22 at) but when I change the value 597, the error appears, only 2wd.
in the workshop manual it is stated that when replacing the wheels the tpms sensors must be recoded, I also played with these as ccf but without success.
Has anyone changed wheel size successfully?

Guys, we need to find a volunteer with a P300 D130.

They are detuned 6 cylinder engines, and likely can be SW / CFF upgraded to 400hp.

That's the same as for the D250 to D300 but nobody is sure whether it will work and/or through any errors. I know some companies are offering D250 software update to D300 again online

If you really want to change the engine power you can change the following

MultiCAN-580 GenericEngPwrOut
Market Limited Mid-Power Engine variant

MultiCAN-599 EnginePowerOutput
Engine Power Source - 200/430

Obviously change the setting to what you want, the above is from my standard car and obviously you do this at your own risk.

Does it work? Some say yes and some say no and I have been reliably informed that doing this can generate an error that your service department will be able to see when they plug it into Pathfinder, eg P167F (Non-OEM Calibration Detected) and P064F (Unauthorised Software/Calibration Detected). Some activation places are now offering a software remap so maybe they have worked out a way to bypass the Non-OEM Calibration/Unauthorised Software/Calibration errors but you would have to ask them that. Cheers Ian

This is the same as changing a D250 to a D300

Someone braver than me, needs to change it and see if it works. l assume you'd be able
to feel the difference if it worked.

Hi Team, I hope it is OK to ask a question about a Discovery on this amazing forum. My problem is I can't find any Discovery forum's that have made so much progress with the IIDTool as this one.
I am trying to configure Advanced Tow Assist. I have most of it working, but when I click start is asked my to lift the Terain response controller. The Discovery has a seperate controller, where the Defender shares a HVAC control.
So my question is anybody on hear with a Discovery with Advanced Tow assist willing to share the CCF file or know the settings required to activate the Terain response controller.
Again sorry to take the discussion away from the amazing Defenders.

L663 Defender D300 power upgrades now available

D200 (197bhp) to D300 (296bhp)

D250 (247bhp) to D300 (296bhp)

This isn’t a re-map this is a genuine power upgrade using the same procedures that is used in the factory.

Genuine JLR software is used to carry out all Factory power upgrades & Activations

They will obviously be using Pathfinder to perform the upgrades Confused Cheers Ian

l wonder if it's just a case of changing the engine type in the CCF or whether there new software needed.

l did email LR Retrofits who used to offer this upgrade to ask them, but they never replied to my query.

Does anyone know if it's possible to activate the ATPC and if so, how it's done?
