More good news
As well as the fold-flat rear seats and sunglasses holder noted on collection, I’ve since discovered thst the locking fuel cap has returned, and the rubbing hose issue has been resolved.

l had to buy that part myself and get it fitted by my local LR independent specialist because the dealer Sytner couldn't do it for nearly three months.

l've tried to get a refund or partial refund for the £110 that the part cost. Every time l make contact with Land Rover Customer Service a "case is opened" and then l hear nothing more.

Have neither on mine and can’t say it bugs me. If someone wants my fuel LRs locking flap ain’t going to stop them and soft close tailgate, never got the point of it, it doesn’t have soft close doors. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I bought a locking fuel cap for £20 and it works great, more secure than the locking flap as well.

Yeah that’s a bit better.

One thing I am going to look into is if my 23.5MY seat base can be replaced with the 24MY one. That would be hand, interestingly though mine came with the 40/20/40 split rear seat that was introduced for 24MY.

If Colinsb can post photos of how the base tips up would be appreciated. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I have the 40/20/40 2nd row seats in my 70 plate. But only the seat backs, not the seat base, they are still 40/60, if you understand what I mean

aren't they all like that ?

Ah yes, it’ll be the seat base they are referring to. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Yes, but I think the issue might be fixings to the floor and if it means mods to the floor pan there might be safety implications, eg potential for passengers ‘submarining’ in a heavy collision.

Ditto. Dont even think about the locking flap now. Also, I dont get the soft close rear door. Seems unneccessary to me. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.
