Not getting software updates?
My Pivi Pro seems not to be getting software updates. I’ve had the car ~3months now, and I know the roll out of 4.0 was staggered, but just don’t seem to have had anything so far.

Weirdly in Settings>Software Update it doesn’t say what software it’s on either:

Anyone had similar?

Have you got the vehicle SIM card turned on? The Defender comes by default with it turned off.

Mine was like that when I first got the car, you don't see any software information until you have had an update unfortunately. You can't force an update but I have seen suggestions of making sure the battery is fully charged etc, there is somebody on another forum that suggested signing out of your profile on the car and then signing back in. This jogged my memory in that I was waiting for an update to 4.0.0 and noticed that the car had signed me out of my profile for some reason, I signed back in and did approx a 50 mile round trip and when I got home and switched the car off the update was there waiting to be installed. Now this may have just been by coincidence but who knows there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how they roll out the updates. Confused Cheers Ian

My first 90 wasn’t receiving updates, the dealer updated something, sorry can’t remember what.

Is your Defender getting a signal?

If it’s like this photo all the time it’s perhaps not activated

Yes SIM is active and all connected/internet services are otherwise working fine!

Good to know that someone else’s caught itself up in the end - maybe I’m just low down the list for the rollout! No huge rush just wasn’t sure if the car was “stuck” Cheers, David
