What car? I a defender or the Disco 6?
If its a defender the corner connection of the roof to windscreen is known to work loose, there is a screw connection which is visible once you remove the headliner. The crew can be loose, you can tighten it, but probably worth looking at replacing it with a hex-head screw and add a bunch of lock-tight in the hope it will stay put. |

OK assuming then L316, have a look and see if the corner of the roof is coming loose from the window frame
