Anyone tried these? I've not heard of them before. Seems to be both conventional and remote reservoir options.

I fitted the advance steering damper when my b6 failed. Works well. If you want to save on vat and duties Mahker sell them. https://shop.mahker.com/product-category/steering-suspension/ WARNING.

My damper doesn’t do that. Perhaps it’s fitted incorrectly or you have another issue? WARNING.

Unfortunately its the damper when I got it out of the box if the piston is compressed it slowly expands out again. Unless its a faulty unit but think all gas filled ones do this. Causes a very slight bias.

I agree, even though they only open slowly under pressure, if you try and hold one closed they take quite a bit of force to stop opening. Personally I don't think the steering damper should be a gas pressure design. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I would be tempted to try these next time. I think the piston cover is essential - my Fox shocks are knackered after maybe 20k miles > 110 XS Double Cab

I had my Fox dampers rebuilt with new Fox damper rods by Prolinx due to pitting if it’s any help
