TIG.... no snobbery involved just know good kit as soon as i see it... i have 3 pairs of LC wellies and one pair has Kevlar protection and support and cost more than £300. I shoot and stalk deer and vermin for my hobby and i would not thank you for a H&H never mind a blamongue with a space hopper on each corner either (RR). Seriously though if the thought of good footwear in your opinon costs less then £50 then enjoy your wrecked lower limbs later in life... 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Penny pinching celebrity Kate Moss, known for being utterly skint, spotted in Hunter peasant boots...
Click image to enlarge Hard up Queen Liz seen cutting corners: Wrecked lower limbs from wearing sub £50 wellies? Total poppycock. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. Last edited by DefenderOfTheEarth on 27th Nov 2011 9:12pm. Edited 1 time in total |

You get what you pay for or what your promo man tells you to wear... I have shot Stags at Balmoral and not ONE employee wears Hunters... 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Maybe their promo man doesn't sell Hunters then? I don't have any Hunters BTW but your snobbery is the sort I thought died out many years ago - except in the Daily Mail. I know some serious landowners/large scale farmers that wear Hunters. Some go even lower rent than that. I know a lot of people who shoot and some who run shoots - none seem to feel the need to elevate themselves to some highbrow social status; they just enjoy it. You shoot stuff. Well done. Enjoy the shooting and hold back on the sweeping social statements. And I thought Golf was bad... Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. im fine with that...but your posts have been somewhat rude, giving it the ig one about wellies isn't cool. the man made you a sensible offer that your could of negociated but instead you kep going off on one. Personally i wouldn't by second hand footwear, i don't care if there new, obviously there not good enough for you so they don't cut it here. I enjoy the finer things and don't go around in crocs but wellies are wellies. Hunters are fit for purpose, generic well made welly. This is the side of the credit crunch i don't like.....you WANT x but it's worth Y...some one makes an offer and you offended. E are all like minded individuals so getting riled isn't cricket really ebay the gun and the wellies.........then we'll laugh |

One thing i am not is a snob but the difference between LC Chasseurs and Hunters is like comparing a Lada to a Rolls Royce and i am afraid they cost more.. sorry if i offended anyone but i have owned both and know the difference. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..
