Personally, I would go for the smallest rim and largest tyre wall height that will give you the tyre tread you want. If you can't get it in a 19 then go 20. The more sidewall the better. Cheers

Thank you, the problem with 20" wheels JL offering are not good option for me, I like the look of the 6009, but worried they are too small. 2.2 90 XS |

Also MY25 offers no off roading tyres for the 22", my dealer tells me they should be ok for the type of my semi off roading driving, I am not 100 percent sure about that, also one major problem I have where I live in the south of England, potholes everywhere and comes in different sizes 2.2 90 XS |

The more I read, the more I feel that the 20" is the right choice for me. My only concern is whether 22" can handle muddy terrain, just like you mentioned. 2.2 90 XS |

my biggest worry from 22" are potholes ! but not many members here seems to have issue with that ! I will either go for 19 or go for the 20" and get it painted in gloss black. thanks everyone for the helpful comments and information, appreciated 2.2 90 XS |

IMHO the 22” are far too easy to damage the rim due to the very low profile of the tyre and you are far more likely to nip the sidewall causing a puncture.
The 20” are ok and had them on my first P400 but changed them for a set of 19” when going off road. The 19” are by far the best and like I said these are up for sale or will be once I’m back from Wales: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
