Puma rear door latch lock
I have a new rear door latch for my 110 Puma Station Wagon. I want to swap over the long lock barrel but I can not figure out how to remove it from the old lock.

Any ideas? Is it even possible?

That’s weird I’ve just received my new lock as the outer handle snapped and I viewed that video two days ago Laughing

Fitted my lock today. It took a bit of jiggling and some WD40 but it’s a easy enough job. Thumbs Up

Thanks for the reply. I've already watched that video but both the old and new latch do not have a pin for the lock barrel. I'm a bit stuck at the moment.

The vid shows the older style lock. The barrel can be changed on a puma lock, I did it on mine a few months ago. I'll try and dig out some more info but from memory the little hole is inside the latch casing on the puma rather than outside like the tdi one. It is fiddly but there is just about access. You need a fairly long pin.

My door is still of the wagon so I'll see if I can get a photo.

I took a good look at the new part and I can see the hole for the pin. Looks like a right PITA to get at. At least now I know what I'm aiming for.

Thanks for the help.
