Mud Flaps
Looking to buy mud flaps, the old style large flaps.
Quite a difficult task! Prices are all over. From 30quid to buy front and rear set to the almost 300 quid of OEM flaps.
Any suggestion? Buy cheap? Buy Oem? Any alternative brand suggested?

Oem wide ones are u.g.l.y. makes the car look like Jughead, wide sticky out things.

I went with Epic Offroad normal looking ones, they do the job, fit well and are cheap enough to warrant easy replacement should you lose one.

I have bought a pair of classic OEM from Urban at 192 squid shipped. This was the cheapest OEM pair I could find online.

¡¡Estoy de acuerdo!! En la cola de los guapos, para mí hay dos lugares posibles... el segundo los OEM... pero en el primero, ¡¡CON NADIE!!

Received today the box with the OEM flaps.
However, nobody told me how time consuming was to fit them Smile
If you are planning to DIY allow 1 hour each corner.
I have done one Shocked tonight, it took a couple of hours including Land Rover instruction and watching videos…
Must be one of the most complicated system on the market Smile cause my T6 took at most 30 minutes the 4 corners.
Get yourself psychologically ready to drill your nicely painted (plastic) panels… one way ticket…

Installing rear mud-flaps was a breeze compared to the front Smile !
Done one at the front last night and it show how unfriendly DIY is the Defender.
The design of the brackets under the lower front of the wheel arch has definitely changed compared to earlier models. However the design of the flap remain the same. One of the 3 bolts at the front will never go through because there is now a wider bracket.
I decided 2 bolts were more than enough. This was the driver side. Tonight I’ll work the passenger side and report.

Sounds like you need a very stiff drink and a long holiday after that!

Great effort. Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.
