LOF Powerboost
Just fitted one of these kits to my non-ABS 130.
Basically it is an adapter to allow fitting the dual diaphragm servo from an ABS vehicle to replace the the single diaphragm standard one.
I bought the mid-priced servo from LOF at the same time as the adapter.
Had a bit of trouble with the manufacturing tolerances of the servo and had to enlarge the holes in the adapter.
Once fitted I had to extend two of the brake lines and the vacuum feed is a bit of a stretch.

But worth the cost and the work. The pedal on my vehicle used to need a good hard shove and that could be tiring, now it’s like modern brakes where it’s not how hard you push the pedal but the distance you push it. A night and day difference.

Comes with fasteners and insulating pads.

Took the opportunity to replace rear callipers and master cylinder at the same time.

Hi
Just completed the same on my 110 300tdi.
Huge improvement over single servo.
I used the TRW servo and was fortunate not to need any fettling.
or brake line adjustments.

Found the instructions very poor.

Fully agree worthwhile upgrade

I've fitted one too with the TRW servo which required no fettling. As the other chaps have said, it makes a marked improvement in how the brakes feel.

Sorry, what does the adaptor do? Just offer different mounting holes and a spacer? Cheers
