Thanks, I spent a frustrating 30 mins trying and failing to disconnect the electrical plug. I reach it OK over the chassis rail, but no amount of wiggling and poking with a screwdriver would get it to budge. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

You might be better off by removing the cubby box and the panel underneath it and tackle the job from above

Thanks I might have to bite the bullet. I was trying to avoid removing the cubby as I have a Mud locker underneath it with an auxiliary fuse box in there and a rats nest of wiring. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Did it yesterday through the panel under the cubbybox as suggested. Forearms shredded, precious 19mm spanner hacksawed in half to make a stubby. Once the high/low selector is popped off it not actually that bad of a job. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
