Apple Maps in the gauge cluster - anyone worked it out?!
I'm loving having Apple Maps in the gauge cluster, but what it actually displays seems to be hit-and-miss.

Sometimes it shows my position and, at the bottom, the road I'm on.

Sometimes it shows my position and, at the bottom, the road I'm on and my time of arrival.

And sometimes it shows my entire route - a zoomed out map so I can see my start point, end point and a line showing the route between them. But it never zooms in.

Does anyone know if there's a setting to decide what is shown? Or is it just pot luck?

I find it displays the opposite to the main display. Ie it shows direction up on the drivers display then it shows the whole map north up and vice versa. It doesn’t show on the HUD at all. 24MY D300 130 X-Dynamic HSE Santorini Black

Mine mirrors - shows the same on both.

I can't work out how to change what is displayed on either.

I had the new security update recall carried out on Friday morning and when I got back in it said there was a new update to 4.1.4.
The update deals with speaker routing on 24MY and some PHEV stuff.
Also phantom engine warning light issues. 24MY D300 130 X-Dynamic HSE Santorini Black

I meant to add it had not made any difference to my map issue. 24MY D300 130 X-Dynamic HSE Santorini Black

Have the same issue completely random what it displays. Glad it’s not just me going mad.

When navigation is set then Apple Maps in the gauge cluster shows opposite to what is on the Pivi Pro screen.

If in Pivi Pro, Apple Maps is zoomed out showing the entire route, and North locked, then in the gauge cluster it will show you zoomed in, with the orientation locked in the direction of travel.

You can change this by pressing the North arrow icon on the top left of Apple Maps in Pivi Pro.
