what mud tyres are you all running i like the BFG muds .
when i get some cash running 235 16 roads at the mo, what size best suit the 90 |

Maxxis MT761 - fantastic tyre and far far cheaper than equivalent bfg. I had 265.

It all depends what you want from your tyres. Remember things like turning circles are controlled by things like adjustment of steering lock bolts, overall size of tyres, width of tyres and offset of the rims. Brendan |

btw, the compound on bfg at and mt have changed - there are as yet no reports on longevity but they ARE softer.

If they are a softer compound Mike surely that would make them more of a winter tyre?
Softer compounds would wear faster on dry roads/higher temperatures etc but would be better in lower temperatures as they would remain more flexible at temperatures below 7C . So would that make the BFG M + S tyre more of a winter tyre? Brendan |

Yes...
New pattern muds, wear quicker, but are easily as good as the AT's in the wet/ice/snow. Much much much better than the old style. So the softer compound gets the From me Andy |

I run BFG 255 85 16 Muds and cannot fault them at all. Maybe apart from the price but I believe they are worth it

265 in KM2 is a bit hard try AJS although your probably walk away with another brand Plenty of AT choice around at the mo though

265/75/16 would you say this was a good size for a 90. not really sure what combination works best.?
