I got 100k miles out of the last set of BFG muds I took off my Disco2, and they were still quite usable then. They were KM1s which I am let to believe was a harder compound, so KM2s might not last as long, but 50k miles should be no problem. |

If only £80 difference, no contest as far as i am concerned !
Bar for being arguably a better tyre offroad, There is always a market for used BFG's more so that the STT's, so that must say something California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

I agree with Tim. I'm only selling mine due to needing slightly smaller 265's on the 110. I will buy another set of KM2s. ALTHOUGH Coopers are made in Wiltshire so good for the local economy |

I've got both brands, one on a 90 and one set on a 110 and they have been on a similar mileage, about 50k.
The Coopers are about 1mm less (they are on the 90), also the tread looks like it has had more wear, the edges of tread across the tyre look less crisp, however this vehicle lives off road 90% of the time. Although still legal I will change these in the next month or so. The BFG's spend 75% of their time on road, and still look good for another six months I would guess. I have to say the Coopers have been superb off road, the 90 doesn't have traction control or diff locks so I rely on the tyre to get us out of trouble. I think I will go for BFG's next time, I suspect I went for the Coopers just so I could try something new and they did look great when they were new. |

265/75 or 235/85 work well on a def. i run two trucks with a set of each (BFG ATs on both) loose a bit of lock with the 265s but its better on road not so good on grass though from my experience. Cheers
