As you can see, I cut little pieces of the Tesa tape and secured it to the honeycomb on the door panel. No more rattle and the tape doesn't obstruct any sound coming from the speaker. Also applied silicone to the tabs that keep the speaker grille in place just to prevent any rattle. And if it has to be removed at some point, the silicone is easy to scrape off.

Perfect job, hot glue can be useful too and comes off clean.

It only takes two surfaces near one another with the speaker in the vicinity to start off some resonance, then it just sounds dull like road noise really.

I used silicone because when it dries, it is still flexible. Plus, I've been told that hot glue sometimes doesn't hold up well over time in the heat. Silicone keeps its properties at temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) and 400°F (204°C). đŸđŸŽđŸđŸ 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)

Very true, I think the doors are some of the most common rattle areas along with the centre dash area.
On a Puma that is, but doors are common with all vehicles and the door and window mechanisms. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
