My 2007 TDCi has no wires of any kind to the seat belt buckles and (mercifully) no warning lights, bongs, or other annoying behaviours relating to the use or non-use of seat belts. It is one of the many attractive features of the vehicle!

I rather imagine that this must have been a region-specific infliction?

That one looks like going into the transfer case switches, but if IIRC my 2007 LHD has like 3 of those kind of plug and one of them does not go anywhere. Before putting all back together make sure the diff lock and low gear switches are correctly plugged. Puma 110" SW

I can also drive without seatbelt on with no noise or anything. I have the cable on the loom, but nothing coming from the sits (from what I see at least) Making my Defender great again. (Or trying to at least xD)

Those 2 are connected. But I don't seem to be able to go on diff lock. I recently bought the car and never had any need of it until now. Haven't seen any lights while trying to put the diff lock on. Mechanically it all seems to work when I move the switch itself. But it seems like the low gear/high gear diff lock stick isn't able to "lock" it into diff locked position. But thanks, the car drove me back home the following afternoon thanks to you guys. The battery was dead I do not know why, I just started it because no time for a charge. Thought it'd be all good, turned off the engine after an hour drive and 100kms.. battery did not charge one bit, alternator giving 14.5v at idle.. I tightened a bit more the plus and minus in case, but I drove 700kms without turning out the engine because it was getting too late to find people to push start the car haha. Used 10.7liters/km the way in, 8.5 on the way back, the last 200kms quite slow haha, but I was surprised (in a good way) it brought me that far. When I parked the battery was at 12.6v, I'll check now if it dropped back or not. Making my Defender great again. (Or trying to at least xD)
