Water noise
A noise of water moving around when turning has been driving me mad, thought it was the fuel tank, them maybe under the boot floor.
But have found it Wink
The back door had a couple of litres inside.

I had to remove a rubber grommet from the underside to drain it

Might be beneficial to leave the drain grommet out until the issue is sorted. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Yes, thanks, done that. Problem is grommet isnt at lowest point so there’s still a reservoir behind Rolling Eyes

Probably seems like heresy saying this, but would it be feasible to drill a hole at the lowest point to stop water building up? Just make the diameter the same as the existing whole and you can plug it with a grommet when the issue is solved. If you do drill a new hole do not for get to put some paint on the new edges to stop it rusting. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
