Hi folk
I'm sure this question has been asked many times but I can't fins the answer! How do I remove the cable from the gauge please? ... really need working space behind the instrument panel. MTIA John 2010 Defender 90 300Tdi CW (White/1994) 2021 Defender 90 300Tdi SW (Blue/1994) |

Thanks Dinnu
Yep that worked! Sadly could not do it with my hands so had to use a pair of slip pliers (jaws padded). All the best John 2010 Defender 90 300Tdi CW (White/1994) 2021 Defender 90 300Tdi SW (Blue/1994) |

Don't know if the connection on the back of the speedo is the same as earlier vehicles but this is why I loved my 2-piece speedo cable so much.
You break the connection under the bonnet and that allows you to pull the cluster off a bit further and gives you more room to remove it from the back of the speedo. ONE LIFE, GET IT! |

Hi Litch ... Sounds an excellent idea but sadly my cable is a one piece unit.
