Ok, to camp or greenlaning,

We sleep in the back on camping trips. I disabled the vehicle waking up and the lights coming on or off with solely the tailgate/boot door opening and closing. Now for my regular contributions to the forums:

Multican 703 “BCM interior light trunk” Fitted.
Multican 703 BCMinterior light delay” Fitted. Immediately turns out all vehicle lights without a 30 second delay.

So the 1st one stops ALL vehicle lights when trunk/boot door is opened or shut.

The 2nd one immediately stops the lights when any of the 4 passenger doors are opened because our vehicles are set for a 30 second delay which drains the battery. 2022 Defender Trek Competition 110 collectors edition!

Comparing with a working vechile
HI,

I am also struggling on the Defender, grey out 'Start' button during auto parking.

I have an L460 Range Rover with full specs and park assist; I to share my settings here:

EUCD-059 Parking Assistance
Standard: Without Parking Assistance

EUCD-099 Park Assist Camera
Standard: Without Park Assist Camera

EUCD-140 Pdcautoactivationmenu
Standard: Not supported

MultiCAN-469 PDCAutoActivation
Standard: Default OFF configurable

MultiCAN-500 PDCBtnFCIM
Standard: Not supported

MultiCAN-602 PDC
Standard: 10 Channel fitted ( Park Assist)

MultiCAN-786 Park Assist
Standard: Full Auto VarD (Fully automated park assist with automated steering breaking acceleration and gears)

You will notice that many Defender CCF settings were NOT enabled on my Range Rover, even though the Range Rover has full park assist. So I assumed we are looking at the wrong parameters in the Defender CCF?

ALSO, The last user memory in Defender (MultiCAN-566 MHLastUserMode) is not working on the Range Rover, I still have to manually turn off Auto Start/Stop

Park assist working.

I have a 2022 Defender 110 p400e Hybrid and a GAP IID Gen 4 tool.

I made all the changes to the CCF to Activate Park Assist as described by many others here and after a few days noticed that the park assist icons were now available. Blue square on lower right of the instrument panel and additional park assist icon on Pivi Pro screen.

I decided to have a play in an empty car park and noticed that the Start button did illuminate briefly but then greyed out. I use the auto hold and noticed that as soon as I took my foot off the brake the start button greyed out. It seems you have to keep the footbrake pressed to keep it illuminated. I then touched the Start button and after a brief delay it activated and said to release the brake pedal. The appropriate indicator came on and the vehicle completed the parking manoeuvre.

It's not something I would generally use and occasionally it has braked very sharply at the end of the manoeuvre so it may not be as refined as Land Rover would like although other models do have the instructions on their online iGuide. (e.g. New Range Rover Sport https://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/docume...2/G3308667 )

Not sure if this will make any difference but worth having a go.

Based on what you have described, this is how the auto park assist works. You need to press the Break while pressing the Start Button.

Could you please share your complete CCF? I'd love to have a 1-to-1 comparison with mine

I've uploaded a text dump of my CCF and added it to my gallery so you can access it without me clogging up the thread.

Thank you !

I have put together a comparison between mine and yours.

The comparison document is now in my gallery as well
FULL CCF - https://www.defender2.net/gallery/albums/u...ompare.pdf
Differences Only CCF - https://www.defender2.net/gallery/albums/u...2BDiff.pdf

During my initial walk-through, I noticed that the glaring differences could be TOW ASSIST (?)
I'll still spend some time exploring.

Many thanks for the comparison file I will go through it in some detail later. I changed the CCF for the Tow Assist as it didn't come with that enabled but I have yet to get that to work, so I don't think that will affect the park assist.

I have made some other changes (seat belt, speedo accuracy etc) but having just done a Land Rover Experience day I would like to get the ATPC activated as that is a very clever toy if you are offroad. More fiddling to be done!

Park Assist - pending final verificationw
Hi Metisse, i have compared the CCF between a working and non-working park assist car.
I want to do some studies on your ECU too.

Mine is here: https://www.defender2.net/gallery/albums/u...2B2023.pdf

Please could you share yours?

Thank you

Hi cfong02

I have uploaded my CCF to my gallery as a text file, feel free to play with it. I have managed to activate walk away locking on a 2022 car, ATPC, AT2 Auto and Configureable TR2, Park Assist (only tried parking in a bay not parallel parking). I have also set my speedo to read accurately and adjusted the ACC to match and turned off the persistent seat belt bong reminder.

I have entered all the changes for Tow Assist 2 but I have yet to try it. If this changes I'll let you know.

Have fun with comparing and let me know if there is anything else you need.

Regards
